Girls Rock Bloomington

Girls Rock Bloomington is hosting our first open mic of 2023! Join us on Saturday February 25th from 6-8pm at the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts (505 W. 4th St.) for a Black History Month Open Mic. The theme is Black Resistance. The event will include a poetry reading from author Ross Gay, a musical performance from indie alt band Foredaze, and food provided by Small Favors. $10 suggested donation will go to GRB's BIPOC Community Fund.

Information for Performers

Black performers (all ages and identities) can perform poetry and or music that connects with their own fight for equality and justice, or any pieces) that speak to who they are. The open mic will begin at 6pm. Click here to sign-up!
