Watercolor Placescapes

Participants will meet the photographer and learn about her work. Ms. Hilary will lead participants in a watercolor activity inspired by Rania's images.

Ideal for ages 6+ | Ages 4 - 5 must be accompanied by an adult

Rania Matar’s series, SHE هي, looks at young women coming of age in the US and in Lebanon. Matar is a Lebanese-born, American/Palestinian artist. She has dedicated her work to exploring issues of personal and collective identity, through photographs of female adolescence and womanhood. Matar’s portraits capture the lives of young women who persist in uncertain times.
